For their convenience, renters can access their self-storage units 24/7/365. Hickory Storage is conveniently located 1 mile from Highway 41 in De Pere, minutes away from Green Bay, De Pere, Lawrence, and the surrounding communities.
Renting a mini-storage unit is easy. Renters meet with owners Ron or Jennifer to secure their rental unit and provide:
Driver’s License (Name and address)
Phone number
Email
Emergency contact with phone number
Security deposit (additional month’s rent)
First month’s rent – Get one month free when you pay for a full year.
If storing a truck, classic car, or boat, a copy of the clear title

Yes, a security deposit due at the time of signing your contract. It is the cost of one month’s rent. The security deposit is refunded as long as the following requirements are met: you gave us a 30-day notice to vacate, outstanding balances are paid in full, the space is emptied, damage free, swept and unlocked. Deposits are NEVER used as last month’s rent. Deposits are mailed to the last known address we have on file.
To move out of the storage unit, provide a 30-day vacate notice. You can call us at 920-425-3500. Or NOTICE TO VACATE
Hickory Storage does not provide renter’s insurance. You are not required to purchase insurance for the items you store at Hickory Storage, but we highly recommend purchasing a renter’s insurance policy to insure contents of the storage space. You may already have coverage through your house or renter’s insurance, so check with your insurance agent. Hickory Storage is not responsible for any loss or damage to contents of any storage space for any reason. Please note that Hickory Storage is secured by 24-hour video surveillance to discourage theft.
The Hickory Storage facility is well-built, with manholes for drainage and a retention pond. Although Hickory Storage units are well-built, they are not 100% waterproof. We strongly recommend that your items be stored in plastic bins and/or on pallets/wood/shelves in order to protect your belongings from moisture.
Yes, you need to provide your own lock for our storage unit. Hickory Storage offers Chateau Disc Locks for purchase.
The minimal rental period at Hickory Storage is 3 months for all storage facilities.
Storage unit rent payments are due on the first of the month.
Hickory Storage accepts cash and checks.
Any items left in the storage unit are your responsibility. Hickory Storage does NOT clean out the units. We will continue to charge you rent until your space is completely empty and unlocked.
Once the payment has been confirmed, we will unlock the unit within 5 business days.
